To promote family togetherness, we decided we were going to carve pumpkins this year. I like Halloween, but may parents have never really been into it, and it was a rare occasion to have a jack-o-lantern, so this was an atypical event for me.
We ended up purchasing our project pumpkins at Wal-Mart since their prices were lower than even the roadside pumpkin stands, which they do have in the Nation Capitol Area. So we each picked out a pumpkin (we chose one for “Tonyâ€) and we went on our merry way.
We made a photo journal of the life of our pumpkins. You can check it out here.
Looks like you had fun carving. I am glad that you are starting your own family traditions.
