What is with the latest trend of apologizing to the Iraqi people for liberating to Saddam? It is your God given right not to agree with your country, but common decency should prohibit you from demoralizing those who put their life on the line to protect your right to do so.
So, the next time you see a photo of someone apologizing to the Iraqi people, remember this …

I found this at the Drunk Report.
I know that this is rather facetious, but this really irritates me.
I decided that I would upgrade the web log to Word Press 1.2.1. They say that they have worked out some bugs with the administrative interface, but I have yet to see any changes. It is also supposed to fix some security flaws. (Isn’t it a shame that even a family oriented site like this has to worry about security issues?)
It was an easy transition, but I have also decided that I am going to get rid of the popup windows for all of the comment, track back, permanent link and e-mail links. It is still under construction, but I have worked out most of the kinks in the standard links. The e-mail link is another story, but I will work it out.
I have also listed my web log on Blog Shares. If nothing else, I get a cool logo button at the bottom of the menu. You should check it out for yourself, though.
I routinely, once a month or so, check my web site statistics and see what pages link to mine. I am pleased that recently I have found that related pages are actually linking to mine. It is a small thing, but it means that someone else besides my wife and my mom are looking at the site. I think they but it best in What about Bob? when they said, “Baby Steps.â€
To promote family togetherness, we decided we were going to carve pumpkins this year. I like Halloween, but may parents have never really been into it, and it was a rare occasion to have a jack-o-lantern, so this was an atypical event for me.
We ended up purchasing our project pumpkins at Wal-Mart since their prices were lower than even the roadside pumpkin stands, which they do have in the Nation Capitol Area. So we each picked out a pumpkin (we chose one for “Tonyâ€) and we went on our merry way.
We made a photo journal of the life of our pumpkins. You can check it out here.

This site is delightfully entertaining and inspiring, and definitely worth a look.
The bible illustrated in LEGO. Brendan Smith’s work will amuse even thoe most conservative of persons. When I accidentally cam across this site, I was a bit apprehensive, but as I delved into the ilustrated stories, I thought, “This is GREAT!”
With a two year old who is infatuated with LOGO’s, I have found another great way to share the stories of the Bible with my son.
