OK, I am off for the next ten days or so due the the birth of my second son. But I have one question, “What is the use of going to work for a couple of days in between two major holidays that are only a week apart?”
I cannot think of any good reason. I think that the entire week between Christmas and the new year should be considered a holiday: therefore no work. If you must work,you should get holiday pay.
We are home from the hospital. After Beth’s cesarean section, we were supposed to stay in the hospital for seventy-two hours, but because of the speed of her recovery, and the proximity to Christmas, they let us go home a day early.
