We are officially almost done packing our stuff. Until we realize that we still have more to pack.
In all seriousness, we packed up everything that we can do without for a week, and have just the bare essentials left out, to include the computer. That should be interesting when it comes time to move everything out the door.
I cannot believe that we own this much stuff. Most of the stuff we have I can never remember even using. I guess that means that we do not need it, yet I still cannot bring myself to throw it out or even give it away.
We have the kitchen, the computer desk, and the remainder of my side of the bedroom left to pack. It certainly sounds like I am slacking in the personal memorabilia area, and that would be somewhat correct.
I apologize for not posting every day like I promised.
No one ever told me how hard it was to pack your house up in preparation for a move with two children undoing whatever you just did. I still have a week to finish, and I am sure we will make the deadline, but that does not mean that I will not stress out in the meantime.
Does anyone know how to balance spending time with your family while finishing all of the packing that needs to be done? This is especially important to me because I will be separated from my family for a month after the move. I welcome any and all suggestions!
