We had been planning this cookout for a couple of weeks, and the weather had been holding out nicely until Friday. I had heard that there was the potential for snow this weekend, but I did not believe it.
Not only was there snow, but there was quite a bit of it. It was not sticking much around here, but my sister called and said there was as much as three inches on the ground in some parts of Toledo.
But that did not deter me. I am not a griller who is faint of heart. Neither rain nor snow nor FDA warning that char-grilled animal flesh is now considered a carcinogen will keep me from grilling.
Does the new warning about grilling mean that they will outlaw Burger King or Lone Star Steakhouse, since they cause cancer just like smoking?
Tony got yelled at for the first time, yesterday. I really do not know the reasoning behind chastising a four month old, but it seemed to make my wife feel better.
I am not trying to make my wife sound like an ogre, so here is the whole story: Tony is beginning to want to do things for himself, like hold his own bottle. This makes him a very grabby little boy. Yesterday he grabbed Beth’s hair with one hand and her glasses with the other. It was that simple.
I am sure we can look forward to many more ass chewings in the future.
Some photoshoppy goodness.

UPDATE: The woman who alleges that she found a human finger in her chili “has been arrested and charged with larceny in connection with the incident.”
Tony slept through the night for the second night in a row! Beth and I certainly hope that this keeps up.
Tony slept through the night for the first time last night. Let’s hope that this is the beginning of a trend.
