Like so many things associated with AOL(link), this is sorely disappointing. The only good thing about this service is that there is 2 gigabytes of storage space.
The not so good things are the fact that I do not like an advertisement being my signature, it is still VERY beta, and there no IMAP access as promised by the AIM(link) web site.

But the AIM(link) Mail FAQ’s had this to say about IMAP access:

My re-hoster was doing server upgrades last night. I really wish that they would tell me these kinds of things. It seems like I am the last to know.
I was never told that they were upgrading the web mail, nor was I told that they were upgrading my storage space and bandwidth. (Not that I am complaining, but that would be nice to know.)
Last night I log on to post, and there is a blank page, literally. For some reason, WordPress could not connect to my databases. This is why I would like to know these things. I strive for perfections, and cannot stand when things go wrong and there is nothing that I can do about them.
I made my first bid on Ebay this evening. I was hoping never to do that since I have seen so many people become addicted, but I really really wanted this particular item. (Nice self control, eh?)
Well, off to go and spend some more of my hard earned money on things that I will end up getting rid of in a year.
We got out bid at the last second. I am guessing that this is a common occurrence having never been involved with an auction.
I have never paid attention to the base closure and realignment list until this year. The scary part is that I know where most of those places are. The second scariest thing is that my new home town stands to lose almost 4,000 jobs.
My supervisor came up to me at work yesterday and asked me if I knew what was wrong with the GMail SMTP server. I assumed he did not configure his account correctly in Outlook. I was wrong.
I have not used my GMail account with my Outlook since Tuesday. This morning I go to send an e-mail and I got the same error he did! Does anyone know what is going on?
