Crawling Lock Down

Tony got up on all fours today!

We were all in the living room playing when today was reaching for his Spongebob Squarepants toy. It was slightly out of his reach, so he started to scoot himself forward, a practice that he has become quite good at the past two weeks. Once he reached “Bob” he rocked back on his haunches and pushed up with his arms, thus putting him on all fours. He stayed there for several seconds.

Beth was careful to keep RJ away, since he has a tendency to knock Tony over whenever he is in a precarious position.

We are one step nearer to baby-proof the new apartment. It is not that I mind this too terribly much, but it is quite annoying to have to climb over baby gates and unlock the fridge every time you need a glass of water. We all must do what we have to do to protect our children, but after having grown past child proofing for one son, and now entering child proofing for another, I much prefer to have none of these accouterments.

Welcome to my humble home, the baby “prison.” For the next year or so, at least.

Yeah… even though my kid is only four days old he can kick the walls and other things to move himself. Hope everything is going well.
