More New Furniture

We bought the rest of the living room furniture that we wanted this weekend. We had not originally planned to buy this for while, but when my chair broke, we figured that since we had to buy one piece, we might as well buy all of it. We bought the entertainment center and two of the one drawer and one of the two drawer tables from the Ming collection at pier one. It will still be a couple of weeks before we get the furniture, but we have made do with much left.

It is a wonderful feeling to know that almost every single piece of furniture in the house (except for RJ’s dresser, which my parents gave him) was purchased with Beth and brand new. There is nothing wrong with second hand merchandise, and many times I have had better luck with used goods, but it is a large milestone to me. I guess that it symbolizes how much of my life I have spent with my wife, and how much we have grown up together.
