The Christmas season is my favorite time of year. As a child is used to be for the presents, as an adolescent it was for the time off school. As a young adult it was to earn money and for the lights. My parents were never for a plethora of lights, but I think at one point I had over 3000 lights on the house. (The house I grew up in was a good distance from the road, and I doubt anyone really noticed.)

As a father, I enjoy watching my boys celebrate. I enjoy watching them create similar memories to the ones I cherish. I enjoy sharing my faith and how much God loves us to send us His son. The way the story is told changes a little bit ever year to go with the age of the boys … but the meaning is always there.
