Beth starts her new job today. She has had jobs before, but this is the first one that could turn in to a career. It is also the first time she has left Tony and RJ since they were born. Having never had to deal with that separation anxiety, I cannot even imagine what she is going through.
The daycare where RJ and Tony will be spending their days is a home daycare, which, ultimately, I feel is best. (As long as you find a good one.) Beth did the home day care for so long that I have high hopes that we knew what we were looking for when we selected this particular home day care.
I think that we should support my wife by sending her some inspirational/supportive e-mail.
My wife had to retake her driver’s license test to changer her license to Ohio. Fortunately for her, but unfortunately for other drivers on the road, she only had to retake the written portion. (HEHEHE, just kidding about the other drivers thing.)
She passed on the first try, which I had no doubt that she would. But apparently the driver’s license making machine at the testing branch of the Ohio BMV she tested at was broken. So she had to go to another location.
Once she got to a location with a working driver’s license making machine, she found out that they did not take credit/debit cards, they only take cash or checks. She did not have any cash on her. Beth quickly ran to the ATM and got some money out. Fortunately for her, they said that they would have everything ready for her when she returned, rather than just not doing anything until they saw the cash, which is what I am sure they would do in Northern Virginia.
I have to admit that just waiting for our next child to be born is wearing me out. We were ready for him to be here two weeks ago, and nothing.
It is almost amusing to watch the lengths that my wife will go to in her efforts to try and have this baby. If she heard of it from another mother and it will not hurt her or the baby, she has done it.
And all of this uncertainty is stressful, as well. I do not know how you deal with stress, but I usually fall asleep, which incidentally I did at about 7:30 P.M. last night. I will gave three guesses what my wife does to alleviate her stress, and the first two do not count.
Here is to hoping that this baby comes soon!
We had a doctor’s appointment, and they said that the baby is not coming too soon. This means anywhere from a couple of days to at the latest the twenty-sixth of December.
Needless to say, my wife is none too happy that the baby has not come yet.
And on that note, I am now opening up the pool to include up through the twenty-sixth of this month.
