WordPress 2.0.4 is out.
This release contains several important security fixes, so it’s highly recommended for all users. We’ve also rolled in a number of bug fixes (over 50!), so it’s a pretty solid release across the board.
Go get it now!
WordPress 2.0 is officially out. Go and get it, and make sure to back up before you upgrade. (I did not run into any problems, but better safe than sorry, right?)
There was a little conflict with the Enhanced Views and Version Check plugin, but they were very minor and did not break anything. There also seems to be a little issue with the window to add links when using the rich text editor, but I always use code view, so …

For a long time I have thought that the WordPress Administration area could use some beautification. I began my search a while ago and stumbled across Shuttle. From the sounds of it this project is more than just a style sheet. In the mean time, I have installed a new style sheet, SpotPress. I like the change, but do not know if I am going to make in permanent, and I definitely would to recommend it for a regular resolution screen, but it works great on my new wide screen laptop.
Speaking of more than just themes, I am also excited about K2. I knew that just having themes that could easily be changed would not be enough.
