On Top of the Pyramid Scheme

I have yet again been propositioned by someone touting that I could own my own business.

I have been to interviews that advertise they are looking for one position, and then try and sell you on the fact that you need to learn all of the aspects of the job to advance, so they try and start you in sales.

I am not saying there is not a lot of money to be had in these ventures, but I am saying that they are a hoax. They grossly misrepresent their business, and take advantage of young people.

Business E-Mail

As cheap as having your own domain can be, it amazes me how many companies have e-mail addresses at other domains such as Hotmail or Yahoo! and even GMail. It is much more professional to have your own domain, and it can cost as little as $35 a year.

I guess it really does not matter, but I would tend to sway my business towards the more professional attitude and I know that there are many other like me.
